Optimize your supply chain

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management and Axcite Sales will give you greater control over confirmed delivery dates.

In future we will work with our Microsoft business systems in a new way. Bredana welcomes this brave new world: “Microsoft’s strategy fits Bredana Axcite hand in glove,” says CEO Bent Hansen.

Dynamics 365 is the next generation of intelligent cloud-based business applications. The platform combines CRM and ERP functions in apps to manage specific business areas, including sales, marketing, customer care, field service, project service, company operations and finance.

Dynamics 365 comes in two editions, Enterprise and Business:

The Enterprise edition is designed for large, complex businesses and contains functions from Dynamics CRM online and Dynamics AX. The minimum number of users for the system is 20.

The Business edition is designed for small and medium-sized companies. It is based on what Microsoft calls Project Madeira – a development project which also serves as a base for the recently launched Dynamics NAV 2017, and sales and marketing functions from Dynamics CRM that target small and medium-sized companies, expected to be launched in spring 2017.

But Dynamics 365 is more than that. The platform is based on a common data model and encompasses Office 365 functions and Power BI. It is also possible to connect apps with industry-specific solutions to the platform.

The vision is for everything to be combined and easy for each user to access using the apps required for their job function. Integrations will no longer be necessary between the various systems.

In Microsoft’s visionary Dynamics 365 model, users access the apps they need. Dynamics 365 is based on a common data model, and all applications are based in the Azure cloud.

Strategy fits Bredana hand in glove

Microsoft’s ground-breaking product strategy demands more of partner companies, many of which have previously specialised in either ERP or CRM. They must now offer both, and more.

“Bredana has had both ERP and CRM expertise for many years in our Dynamics AX, NAV and CRM teams. We are therefore already able to advise companies that wish to make the transition to Dynamics 365,” says CEO Bent Hansen.

“We have also developed the Axcite Logistics sector solution for manufacturing companies in the Dynamics AX segment and solutions for manufacturing and trading companies in the Dynamics NAV segment. And a number of special solutions for Dynamics CRM,” says Bent Hansen.

Image 2: Using the consolidation feature, several or all of the sales order lines can be grouped together under the same confirmed delivery date.

Image 3: The new confirmed delivery date is overwritten on all sales order lines which had confirmed a delivery date either on or before the new consolidation date.

In addition to the expanded ATP calculation and consolidation of sales order lines, Axcite Sales also allows you to reserve sales order links and import sales order lines from the file.
