The international supplier of electric motors, Hoyer, is taking a major digital leap with Dynamics 365 to optimise its business and support growth rates of up to 20% over the next few years.
Hoyer
Industry: Manufacturing
Company size: Mid-sized
Solutions:
Based in Denmark, Hoyer supplies high-quality electric motors to customers around the world and has laid out a clear strategy for the next three years. A key element of this strategy is a digital transformation to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, which will support Hoyer’s ambition to achieve growth rates of around 20 percent in 2022 and 2023.
“We expect strong growth in customer segments that place increased demands on data and documentation. This is one of the key reasons why the new ERP solution is a vital part of our strategic plan,”
says CEO Henrik Sørensen, Hoyer.
“Dynamics 365 will help strengthen the value propositions on which we build our business. We want to be even more solution-oriented, flexible, and faster in responding to our customers. Speed in our processes—and in our business as a whole—is an extremely important parameter,”
adds Henrik Sørensen.
“The solution will enable us to become more productive with fewer resources. We will work more efficiently, and that is the key to increasing our earnings,”
says CFO Henrik Petersen, who is responsible for the implementation of Dynamics 365.
Hoyer supplies motors to industry, marine, HVAC, oil and gas, and wind power. The company operates 11 legal entities and has assembly production and warehouses in several locations around the world.
Green transition becomes the growth engine
Hoyer delivers motors to industry, marine, HVAC, oil and gas, and wind power and it is especially within the wind and marine segments that the company expects to achieve high growth rates.
“In January, we established a subsidiary in Houston, Texas, to strengthen our position in the wind market. Short delivery times are crucial for the wind service industry, and by February the first 350 motors were ready for delivery,”
explains Henrik Sørensen.
“Dynamics 365 will help strengthen the value propositions on which we build our business. We will be even more solution-oriented, flexible, and quicker to respond to our customers. Speed in our processes and in our business overall is a critically important parameter.”

Product configurator, expertise, and ‘chemistry’ decided the partner choice
Bredana Axcite was selected as partner and supplier of the Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management solution. The solution is being developed and implemented throughout 2021 and will go live at the turn of the year 2021/2022.
So why was Bredana Axcite chosen as implementation partner?
“Bredana Axcite understood our challenges and pain points immediately and early in the process presented an effective solution for our product configuration. I experienced the same ability to quickly understand our business within the finance area,”
says Henrik Petersen.
Product configuration is essentially the heart of Hoyer’s business, as motors are configured differently for each customer.
“The system’s product configurator will be a major benefit for our sales organisation, enabling them to quickly and reliably configure motors with the right components ensuring we deliver on our value propositions and achieve our growth objectives,” says Henrik Petersen.
“I see the collaboration as a process where Bredana Axcite’s consultants help us refine and sharpen our processes,” adds Henrik Sørensen, who also highlights the sales mindset and ‘chemistry’ as decisive factors in choosing a partner:
“We are a very sales-driven organisation. Bredana Axcite thinks about sales in the same way we do. The chemistry is right. We work very well together.”
“Bredana Axcite understood our challenges and pain points immediately and early in the process presented an effective solution for our product configuration. I experienced the same ability to quickly understand our business within the finance area.”

Dynamics 365 supports Hoyer’s group structure and intercompany trade
Bredana Axcite specialises in digital transformation for trading and manufacturing companies with complex supply chains.
With 11 legal entities, assembly production, and warehouses spread across the globe, Hoyer is a strong match for Bredana Axcite’s skills and experience.
Hoyer previously operated on a smaller Microsoft solution and, following a pre-analysis of the market, chose to remain within the Microsoft ecosystem.
The decision fell on Microsoft’s enterprise ERP platform as it supports both production operations, intercompany trade, and complex group structures.
Henrik Petersen is also looking forward to working with Power BI, which is part of Microsoft’s business application suite:
“Today, our monthly close takes three days. With Power BI, I expect to reduce that to half a day. At the same time, our business will become far more transparent.”
